This is the accompanying blog post to the guided meditation of 'Peel away layers of conditioning through energy healing' which you can download here.
During this 15 minute long meditation, I send energy healing to you and focus on the 7 chakras outlined below. The beauty of energy healing is that it transcends time and space, so you can receive this healing anywhere and at any time. It also never 'runs out', so you can use this meditation on an ongoing basis, in a quiet, private space, where you don't get disturbed. You can listen to it either sitting or lying down, and please make sure you aren't driving or operating heavy machinery, as you will be listening to it with your eyes closed. For more information about the energy healing that I do, please read this.
The 7 chakras
There are many different definitions of 'chakras', which the 'main' ones are and and what they are associated with. I want to outline the 7 chakras that I work with, and outline how I work with them:
The Crown - Located at the top of your head and represented by the colour white or light purple. This chakra is associated with our connection to the Universe (Source, Higher Power, God - whichever we choose to call it). It's what links us to the bigger picture and where our inspiration comes from. If this chakra is blocked, we can be feeling stuck on getting new ideas and feeling very small and insignificant, rather than feeling part of something bigger.
The Third Eye - Located in the middle of your forehead and associated with the colour indigo. This is where our intuition sits and where we can see our vision and path clearly. If this chakra is blocked, we can struggle to see the 'right' way forward and find it difficult to visualise what we want our lives to look like and be.
The Throat - Located in the middle of our throat and associated with the colour blue. This chakra is all about communication, speaking your truth and speaking up for yourself. If this chakra is blocked, we can find it challenging to set boundaries, to communicate clearly and openly, and our self expression can be stifled.
The Heart - Located in the middle of your chest/heart area and associated with the colour green. This chakra is, of course, connected to love - love to yourself, to others and to the overall Universe. This is unconditional love, and compassion, and is both about being able to give and receive love, so if this chakra is blocked we can feel unworthy of giving and receiving love.
The Solar Plexus - Located just below your chest, in the pit of the stomach, and associated with the colour yellow. This chakra is where your will power and determination sits. If this chakra is blocked you might find it hard to take action and get things done. You might be feeling powerless to stand your ground and feel that you can easily be 'knocked over'.
The Sacral - Located just below your navel and associated with the colour orange. This chakra is connected to passion, creativity, sexuality and joy. It's also where your inner child lives, and when it is blocked, you may be finding your life joyless and lacking fun and excitement. You might also be struggling with your creativity and sexuality. This is where your joy and passion for life lives.
The Root - Located at the bottom of your spine and associated with the colour red. This chakra is all about safety, security and grounding. It is also where things get manifested into our lives, so if this chakra is blocked, we can be feeling unsettled and unsafe, as well as struggle to create the life we want. Many of the women that I work with (including myself) benefit from working with balancing the root chakra as we are so often in our heads - planning, organising, thinking - instead of grounding ourselves in our bodies.

In most traditions, that I know of, the Root charkra is known as the first chakra, and the Crown is the seventh. This is also how I view it however, when I do energy healing, I very often start at the top (seventh chakra) and work my way down (first chakra).
This is partly because, as mentioned, many of the clients I work with tend to have busy minds, so it can be beneficial to calm and 'clear' the mind first and then work down towards grounding. It is also because many of the clients I work with struggle to manifest and create the life that they desire, so this flow of working with the chakras is my preferred way for supporting that.
If, however, I was working with someone who was very grounded (or, actually, stuck), then I would work with the chakras in the other flow direction of root to crown, as it would help shift the stuckness and open up for the divine connection and inspiration.
For this specific meditation, I start at the top and work my way down.
About Victoria
I’m a multi-passionate Transformational Coach, Energy Healer and Artist who empowers female entrepreneurs to live authentic, fulfilling lives from their true core. This includes establishing healthy boundaries in life and business, so you can serve more deeply and sustainably. As a soul and heart led woman in business myself, in the past I have been at the brink of burnout and beyond. I create my services based on what I have needed over time to survive and fully thrive.
I don't claim to be 'perfect' or have it all figured out, but the tools and processes that I teach are tried and tested by myself and others, on multiple occasions. I have worked with many women over the years to help them gently move from overwhelm and stress to alignment and flow.
Everything that I do is gentle and at a slower pace, and not one that is dictated by what social media or the "Experts" tells us. I believe that if we learn to serve ourselves first, reconnect with our true core and create healthy, sustainable boundaries and do things on our own terms, that we can live a life and business in total alignment. From that space, we can fulfil our deepest purpose and desire of serving others and healing the world, one soul at a time.
